State police say they responded a call Friday, January 3, 2020, saying a pedestrian had possibly been struck by a car on Camp Creek Road in Julian, West Virginia. When they arrived on the scene, they found Cody Wayne Miller, 32, of Danville, West Virginia with a gunshot wound. He was transported for medical treatment, but later died at the hospital.
Police say the accused, Shane Dalton Justice, 26, of Danville, has been taken into custody and charged with murder, prohibited person with a firearm and wanton endangerment.
